Wu Jie Elementary School is situated in the center of Wu Jie Township, Yilan County, an area known for its strong cultural identity and vibrant local industries. Rooted in a warm, community-oriented environment and surrounded by a rich humanistic atmosphere, the school is guided by the motto:“Balanced Development in All Five Domains, Learning Together in Friendship.”
As of the 2024–2025 academic year, Wu Jie Elementary has 22 elementary classes and 3 kindergarten classes, serving approximately 660 students and staff. It is currently the 12th largest elementary school in Yilan County.
Wu Jie Elementary is recognized as a bilingual school, with a special focus on Health and Physical Education as its featured bilingual subject areas. Through integrated English instruction, students develop communication skills while participating in active and meaningful learning experiences.
The school also promotes student well-being and teamwork through sports. It proudly supports a girls’ relay team and a boys’ basketball team, demonstrating its strong commitment to physical fitness, sportsmanship, and character development.
With a dedicated teaching team and a supportive campus environment, Wu Jie Elementary encourages students to grow academically, socially, and personally.

4. Accommodation 住宿安排
Xing Ye Yuan B&B (杏葉垣民宿) Volunteers will stay at Xing Ye Yuan, a licensed bed & breakfast located near the back entrance of the Dongshan River Water Park, next to Shangrila Leisure Farm Hotel.
Two quadruple rooms (each with a private bathroom) have been arranged for overseas volunteers.
