「國立臺南大學附設實驗國民小學」位於臺南市中西區樹林街上，緊鄰國立臺南大學。西元1896年5月21日由當時的臺灣總督府核定設立「臺灣總督府臺南國語傳習所」，於9月1日在臺南孔廟開始正式授課，並於同年11月4日進行臺南國語傳習所開所式，為現今臺南市最早傳授現代新式教育的小學。西元1898年10月1日，「臺南第一公學校」繼承臺南國語傳習所於原址上課。西元1916年孔廟計畫整修，於樹林街現址興建校舍，西元1917年八月遷入，以迄於今。西元1921年臺南師範學校指定「臺南第一公學校」為該校「代用附屬公學校」，至西元1928年四月，正式成立「臺南師範學校附屬公學校」，本校與臺南師範學校的附屬關係，宣告正式確立。
此後校名乃隨南師之升級而更改之，1964年8月改稱「省立臺南師範專科學校附屬小學」，1988年改稱「省立臺南師範學院附屬小學」，1991年改稱「國立臺南師範學院附設實驗國民小學」，2004年8月1日改名「國立臺南大學附設實驗國民小學」。
1917年完工啟用的原始紅樓，於1945年3月20日美軍飛機轟炸臺南時被炸毀，倖存者僅一棟禮堂。臺灣光復後，省府撥款重建校舍，於1947年2月18日完工。直到1984年再拆除，改建拂曉，而於1986年完工，啟動了一系列的校舍更新計畫，1991年的黎明樓，1992年的朝陽樓，1995年陸續完成幼稚園與圖書館，2003年的旭日樓，以至2009年迎曦樓相繼完工，日人所建校舍至此全部拆建，校園煥然一新。
光復之後，本校首任校長由臺南師範學校校長張忠仁先生（1946年1月）兼任，其後由臺南師範學校遴聘，歷經王爾新先生（1947年4月）、李柏乘先生（ 1947年9月）、孫漢宗先生（1952年4月）、甘夢龍先生（1978年9月）、郭聰貴先生（1988年2月）、王萬清先生（1991年8月）、甘夢龍先生（1993年8月），吳新華先生（2001年8月），王澤瑜先生(2005年8月)，周義雄先生（2012年2月），許誌庭（2015年8月）。第十四任楊怡婷校長於2022年八月到任迄今。
本校創辦伊始，即定位為國民基礎教育，至成為臺南師範附屬公學校時，即轉型為基礎教育階段的實驗型學校，於基礎教育的任務外，還肩負著師資培育，以及教育實驗研究的重大使命。
National University of Tainan Affiliated Primary School was formerly named “Tainan First Public School” and was founded at the Confucian Temple in 1898. It was assumed to be the affiliated public school of Tainan Normal School in 1921. After Taiwan’s retrocession to Chinese Sovereignty, the R.O.C. government renamed it ‘‘Tainan Normal School Affiliated Primary School’’. Mr. Jhang, Jhong-Ren was the first principal, then Wang, Er-Sin, Li, Bo-Cheng, Jhou, Sia-Ruei, Sun, Han-Zong, Gan, Meng-Long, Guo, Cong-Guei, Wang, Wan-Cing, Wu, Sin- Hua, Wang, Zhe-Yu, Zhou, Yi-xiong, Hsu, Chih-ting served as the following principals. In 2004, as National Teachers’ College was elevated to a University, National Tainan Teachers’ College Affiliated Primary School was renamed “National University of Tainan Affiliated Primary School.” The present principal is Mrs. Yang, Yi-ting.
National University of Tainan Affiliated Primary School is a famous Primary School in Tainan City with a long history and commendable tradition. There are 36 general classes, 3 resource classes, and 5 kindergarten classes in this school. The campus landscape is graceful, and the teaching facilities are complete. Teachers in this school are professional and cooperative. Teaching is normalized to ensure the students’ learning is in balanced development, with an emphasis on life guidance and learning assistance. It is advocated that life is education, and activity is learning. The sense of mission and unity in our teaching team is positively focused. It is a dynamic school that obeys the national educational laws and policies, and tallies with the educational concepts. This school is full of innovation, variety, and abundant social resources. It focuses on the needs and experiences of the students and the teachers as well. It serves the functions of experimental research and teaching demonstration.

ABOUT THE CAMP
本次夏令營使用本校兩間英語教室，每間教室內備有智慧電視、冷氣、電扇、燈光、實物投影機、平板車等教學設備，英語教室位於本校迎曦樓二樓，活動過程將有3-4名本國籍英語教師、1名外籍教師進行協助。
This summer camp will take place in two English classrooms at our school. Each classroom has a smart TV, air conditioning, electric fans, lighting, a document camera, and a tablet cart. The English classrooms are located on the second floor of the Yingxi Building. During the activities, 3 to 4 local English teachers and 1 foreign teacher will assist.
